Wage: $23.50/hour; 30-35 hours per week
Overtime: As per BC Employment Standards Act
Benefits: 4% vacation pay (or as per BC Employment Standards Act)

Job Duties:
- Assess children’s development to prepare learning plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Lead activities such as storytelling, music, and physical activities
- Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Observe and report developmental or behavioural concerns
- Discuss progress and concerns in staff meetings
- Maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for children
Skills Requirements:
Education: Secondary School education required
Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator
Certifications: ECE Certificate, First Aid, Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR
Additional Requirements: Criminal record check and medical exam
