1501751 Alberta Ltd. and 1501757 Alberta Ltd. o/a Shelter Valley Land & Cattle is seeking a Farm Supervisor. 102049 Range Road 210 (NW 18-10-20-W4, Lethbridge County, AB) English Speaking workplace.

Wage: 24.00/hour
Benefits: Health, RRSP program (after 3 month probation period)
Education: Basic
Experience: 3-5 years

Duties: All duties related to cattle. Recognize and treat any cattle health concerns. Supervise beef cattle herdspersons and general farm workers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Operate and maintain feedlot machinery and equipment. Processing cattle. Pen checking (check for illness and injuries) Computer data entry – input cattle reports. Ensure water systems are operational and repair when needed. Move cattle. Sort, load and ship cattle. Assess and supply bedding when required. Assist general farm workers with the maintenance of pens, including scarping and hauling manure. Run feeding equipment ensuring proper milling of products and maintenance of feedmill. Farm duties to help with the cattle safety, security and well-being. General farm duties as required

Must be able to work in all weather conditions.(cold, heat, rain, snow etc.) Must be willing to work weekends.
