Web Developer

Description

• Develop, write, modify, integrate, and test website-related code and web application interfaces for school websites and other online platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize responsive, accessible, and SEO-friendly webpages for school programs, admissions, and marketing campaigns.
• Conduct testing and analyze data to monitor website quality, security, and user experience; identify and resolve performance issues.
• Develop and implement procedures for website content updates, new feature releases, and regular maintenance.
• Collaborate with the marketing, admissions, and academic departments to align website content with institutional branding and recruitment goals.
• Manage web hosting environments, including deployment, DNS management, and SSL configurations.
• Create and maintain dynamic pages and interactive features and ensure seamless integration.
• Integrate APIs such as CRM systems, inquiry forms, and analytics tools.
• Research and evaluate emerging web technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve site functionality and student engagement.
• Maintain technical documentation, and ensure compliance with data privacy and accessibility standards.

• Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience building responsive, production-ready interfaces.
• Practical experience with PHP, MySQL, and custom WordPress development.
• Hands-on knowledge of React.js and modern front-end workflows.
• Experience deploying and maintaining websites on AWS or equivalent hosting environments.
• Strong ability to test, debug, and optimize website performance and security.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

• A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in web design, development, or related technical roles.
• Experience in the education, or marketing sectors is preferred.
