Responsibilities
Tasks

Review and refine compensation, benefit, and recognition programs to attract and retain top talent.

Monitor workplace health, safety, and wellness programs, and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and compliance with employment standards.

Supervise and support HR team members, ensuring consistent delivery of HR services across departments.

Manage HR data, analytics, and employee information systems to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and effective reporting.

Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.

Design and maintain clear job descriptions, role classifications, compensation frameworks, and performance evaluation systems.

Participate in or lead labour negotiations, resolve grievances, and guide management on employee relations and conflict resolution.

Provide expert advice to managers and employees on human resources policies, compensation, benefits, and collective agreement interpretation.

Create and update HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with legislation and support a positive workplace culture.

Develop and execute HR and labour relations strategies that strengthen organizational performance and align with workforce planning needs.
