Salary: $25.00 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Dusty, Noisy, Odours, Dairy, Dirty

Area of specialization: Dairy cattle

Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available

Job Duties

·         Milk cows

·         Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly

·         Handling animals

·         Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs

·         Monitor the calving process

·         Monitoring animal health, Detect disease and health problems in livestock, Treat livestock health issues

·         Perform livestock feeding, Feed and tend animals

·         Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck

·         Maintain livestock performance records, Maintain quality control and production records, Maintain work records and logs

·         Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens

·         Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

Perform general farm duties
