Responsibilities
As a Crane Operator, you will perform all or some of the following duties:
· Clean and lubricate cranes
· Assemble tower cranes on site
· Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials
· Perform routine maintenance work
· Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities to prepare for rigging and hoisting
· Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
Required Qualifications
Education Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 35 hours / week), Paid Vacation
Compensation: CAD $42.00/hour
Employment Conditions: Morning and Day
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Attention to detail and Sitting
Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty
