Job Duties:
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences
- Plan menus and create grocery lists
- Order and purchase food and supplies within budget
- Ensure kitchen and cooking areas are clean, organized, and safe
- Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with childcare staff to ensure meals are served at appropriate times
- Keep up to date with food safety regulations and best practices
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants as needed
