With a reputation for quality in Automotive Services, Babs Auto Sales has established itself as a local car repair and sales business in the Oshawa region. Babs Auto Sales services and sells all makes of vehicles and had recently added a full-size paint booth in their location.

Babs Auto is currently looking for 3 Automotive Painters to join the team based out of Oshawa Ontario.  The Painters will be mainly responsible for finishing and repainting body surfaces of vehicles on the premises.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and report paint costs, estimates, and plan work to be performed;
  • File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools;
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting;
  • Mix paint, blend and match colours;
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns;

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

·      Completion of a two- to three-year automotive painter apprenticeship program or a minimum one year of work experience in automotive painting or in the automotive refinishing technicians trade;

·      Must be well organized and punctual;

·      Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;

·      Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
