Job Summary: Join our knitwear production line as a Coverstitch Sewing Machine Operator. We are looking for a detail-oriented sewer who specializes in hemming and edge-finishing stretch fabrics. Your work will ensure that our garments feature professional, flexible hems that move comfortably with the wearer.

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

The Job Key Responsibilities:

· Operate industrial coverstitch sewing machines.

· Perform hemming, edge binding, and topstitching on knit and stretch garments.

· Ensure the stitch provides adequate stretch and recovery without snapping or unraveling.

· Properly align fabric edges to ensure the looper thread covers the raw edge on the underside perfectly.

· Adjust differential feed settings to prevent fabric stretching, waving, or puckering during the sewing process.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Language: English required

· Education: Minimum high school diploma

· Experience: At least 1 years’ sewing machine operation experience

· Machine Experience (Required): Must have hands-on experience operating a Coverstitch Sewing Machine

· Work Skills & Attributes:

– Strong attention to detail

– Ability to perform repetitive tasks
