Star Mart Enterprises Ltd., 151-12253-92 Ave, Surrey, British Columbia, V3V 7S4 is looking to hire a Graphic Designer as soon as possible.
Salary: $28.85/hour

Job type : Permanent, full time
Duties :
•Consult with management and other staff members to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of promotional flyers and the company website in order to best meet customers’ needs and attract new consumers
•Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect
•Develop graphic elements and styles to promote sales and the supermarket brand
•Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout and design software
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts and prepare final designs for weekly flyers
•Amend final designs to managers’ comments and gain full approval before the deadline each week
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual displays or website
• Design in-store displays and showcases for new products
• Train and/or arrange for the training of new staff.
Job Requirements:
- A university degree in visual arts with specialization in graphic design, commercial art, graphic communications or cartooning or Completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts is required.
- Experience or training in multimedia design at a post-secondary, college or technical institution is an asset.
