Description

DeVry Greenhouses requires 45 Greenhouse workers to provide the following duties: 

Job Details: 

Location of work: On Site

Salary: $17.85/hour for 40 – 55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Seasonal Full-time 

Start date: July 27, 2026

Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekends

Tasks: 

  • Clean the crops 
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Plant bulbs and seeds
  • Pot and re-pot plants
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/ or gardens
  • Clean work area 

 

Type of Crops: 

  • Ferns
  • Perennials
  • Bedding plants
  • Seasonal plants
  • Tropical plants
  • Vegetables 

Job Requirement: 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: Experience is an asset 

Lanugages: English 

 

Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending crouching, kneeling, weight handling up to 23kg (50lbs) 

Personality suitability: Team Player
