PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT

Education – College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience – 1 year to less than 2 years

Salary – CAD $37- $40 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours / week

Job location – On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting – Urban area

Responsibilities:
Tasks –
– Assess patients' physical abilities
– Assist health care professionals
– Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
– Follow through on treatment programs with patients
– Clean and maintain equipment
– Plan physiotherapy programs
– Document patient rehabilitation progress
– Schedule and confirm appointments
