Description

We are looking for experienced Food Services Managers for The Food Dudes Inc., located at 111 Princes Boulevard Toronto, ON M6K 3C3, Canada. And various locations within the region.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, organize and direct food and beverage operations across all Hotel X Toronto outlets, including restaurants, bars, café, room service and catering.

  • Implement operational procedures and service standards suited to a luxury hotel environment.

  • Recruit, train and supervise kitchen and service staff and prepare work schedules to ensure proper coverage.

  • Manage inventory of food, beverages, supplies and equipment, and coordinate purchasing and vendor relations.

  • Participate in menu planning for dining outlets and catered events, ensuring quality, cost control and guest appeal.

  • Support kitchen operations when required, including assisting with preparation of high-volume banquet items and supervising cooking stations to maintain quality and presentation standards.

  • Monitor revenues, food costs, labour expenses and profitability, and implement actions to improve financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation and regulations, and conduct routine inspections of kitchen and service areas.

  • Coordinate catering and banquet services by working with event teams to align menus, production schedules and service logistics.

  • Resolve guest service concerns related to food and beverage operations and support overall guest satisfaction.

  • Oversee maintenance and readiness of kitchen equipment, service bars and dining areas.

  • Develop initiatives to enhance food-service operations, introduce new dining concepts and support business growth.

  • Maintain accurate records, including menu sheets, production schedules, staffing logs, cost reports and food-safety documentation.

 

Prerequisites:                          

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills:  2 years to less than 3 years of experience

Language: English

 

Hourly Salary: $36.00 to $38.00 for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
