We will be the first ones to tell you that living on a farm in the Fraser Valley is living the dream. One farm quickly grew to a few, and now we harvest everything from apples to heirloom tomatoes to pumpkins. Every August, we open the doors to U-pick to our communities so they can pick their own apples or bring their families out for some fall family entertainment!
We are looking for a persistent, detail oriented, systematic, careful, and energetic person to join our team as part of our Sales team. The ideal candidate is a team player, keen to learn, self-motivator and able to work well under pressure and take pride in their work. The candidate must be a quick learner, great at multitasking, with excellent sales skills and oversee sales activities.

Key duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management for LDB and ordering products
- Oversee staff training, hiring, and scheduling as needed
- Process sales and supervise staff and customers in the room
- Learn and maintain up to date product knowledge and be able to discuss cider with ease when engaging with customers
- Provide direct customer service to the public and deal with any issues that arise in a productive manner, enforcing all BC liquor rules and regulations at all times
- Implement and follow all opening & closing checklists for the tasting barn ensuring all staff do the same meeting room standards
- Oversee cash handling, tips and anything pertaining to running tills in the room,
- Assist with programming and maintaining square cash registers
- Assist with the planning and execution of events
- Supervise berry u-pick operations on the farm in the summer
- Any other jobs required that pertain to the management of Taves Estate Cidery’s tasting room, picnic area and lounge
- Maintain cleanliness of all spaces and equipment to food safety standards
Reguirements/Education and other reguirements
- Completion of Secondary required
- At least 7 months of related work experience required
- Serving It Right Certificate
- Excellent customer service
- Experience managing staff and doing sales/service in a liquor establishment,
- Excellent computer skill including experience with email, word, excel and other basic computer programs/skills
- Able to think outside the box with excellent problem-solving skills and common sense to find the most efficient answers to a range of problems.
- Self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team while still adhering to deadlines and being productive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Able to multi-task easily.
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm manner and able to give and receive feedback in a calm and constructive manner.
- Able to lift 40 to 50 lbs, climb ladders comfortably and stand for extended periods of time.
