Description
Basecamp Burger Joint is located at 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Line Cook. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.
Position: Line Cook
Wage: CAD $21.00 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, burgers, Korean and Thai dishes and other menu items, in coordination with the kitchen staff;
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies;
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage;
• Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift;
• Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Language at work: English
