Description

Spa Motel is located at 140 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Executive Housekeeper. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.

Position: Executive Housekeeper
Wage: CAD$25.00 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
• Direct and oversee the operations of housekeeping department;
• Plan, co-ordinate, and supervise the housekeeping staff;
• Plan and prepare staff work schedules;
• Inspect to ensure motel’s cleaning standards and health & safety regulations are met;
• Select and order housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure staff have proper tools for work;
• Maintain inventory;
• Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery;
• Hire and train housekeeping staff;
• Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payrolls.

Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience as a cleaning supervisor is required
• A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is an asset
• Language at work: English
