Home Child Care Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time childcare in our private residence in Toronto.

Responsibilities include:

• Change diapers.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the child.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games, crafts and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Prepare the child for naps and rest periods.
• Take the child to and from appointments and activities as required.
• Tend to the child's emotional well-being.

Requirements:

• English.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
• Must be reliable, organized, patient, honest, flexible and have excellent communication skills.

Position Details:

• Permanent, full-time.
• 32.5 hours per week.
• $20.85 per hour.
• On-site in Toronto, Ontario.
• Start as soon as possible.
