Salary: $18.34 hourly / 40 to 50 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Early morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Experience an asset

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available

Job Duties

• Milk cows
• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health, Detect disease and health problems in livestock, Treat livestock health issues
• Perform livestock feeding, Feed and tend animals, Formulate feeding program
• Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving, Monitor the calving process
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens; Disinfect pens and barns
• Perform general farm duties
• Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Package products
