Job Description:

This company is looking for two full-time Cooks (Indian Tandoori) to join its team as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes, including tandoori chicken, seekh kebab, chicken tikka, and tandoori naan.

• Prepare and cook specialty tandoori dishes according to dietary requirements and instructions provided by the chef or dietitian.

• Manage daily tandoori section operations independently, ensuring timely food preparation and service with minimal supervision.

• Maintain inventory records of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, monitor stock levels, and arrange timely replenishment.

• Calculate ingredient quantities, determine portion sizes, estimate preparation requirements, and monitor costs to minimize waste.

• Slice and prepare raw food ingredients for future use.

• Take proper care of clay ovens and inform management if any repairs or upgrades are needed.

• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and compliance with food safety, temperature control, and hygiene standards.

• Clean and maintain tandoor ovens, utensils, equipment, and kitchen work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary working environment.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma is required.

• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a related field.
