Description
Tina’s Kitchen in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswich is now looking for an experienced in-house bookkeeper to manage the financial records for our two restaurants in Florenceville-Bristol and Hartland. This role includes handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll support, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- or equivalent experience
Experience
Over 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
