Pangaea Enterprises Inc. dba Kawakubo Japanese Restaurant is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Job requirements:
・3 years or more experience in food preparation and/or food service
・Some supervisory experience
・Japanese cuisine knowledge or experience with Japanese cuisine
・Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain good relationships with team members, Customers and vendors.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma

English

Wage:
$35.00/hour
Benefits:
– 4% vacation pay, Paramedical services coverage, Tip, Staff meal
Hours:
30 to 40 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the restaurant, including quality control of food and service.
- Determine menu and other services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Hire new staff and arrange and oversee staff training
- Create and manage staff work schedule
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance
- Manage inventory, monitor revenues and control costs, and adjust procedures
- Deal with customer complaints
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers
