Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker
Compact heating and Air Conditioning Ltd is hiring an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker.
The right candidate will perform the following duties:
They measure, mark, and cut metal, and may also weld, bolt, rivet, or solder seams and joints using both hand and power tools.
Fabrication: Cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to specific dimensions based on blueprints or instructions.
Installation: Installing metal sheets ducts for HVAC equipment.
Measurement and Marking: Accurately measuring and marking dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of Secondary School.
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in the industry
- Proficiency in using tools and operating equipment.
- Accuracy in measurements and calculations.
- Ability to interpret drawings and sketches.
- Follow instructions from installers to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Salary: $31.00/hour for 40 hrs./week.
