Gurdev Gill & Sons Farm Ltd is hiring One Supervisor to supervise their team and farm operations located at  464 Columbia St  ; 420 Columbia St, 32650 Huntingdon Road; 33410 Huntingdon Road Abbotsford, BC- V2T 5X6

Job details:

Position: Farm Supervisor

Wages: $ 21 /hr (40  hours  per week)

Permanent employment, Full time

Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $ 30/week

Your job duties include:

• Assign and supervise the work of general farm workers
• Supervise and oversee growing and maintenance of blueberry and raspberry crops.
• Develop specific plans to prioritize
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Inspect equipment and order maintenance requests and for the infrastructure.
• Develop work schedule and establish procedures
• Ensure farm safety and follow food safety guidelines
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Maintain work records and logs
• Hire and train staff
• Perform general farm duties, provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting

Requirements:

No formal language requirements.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience.
