The Nails Metrotown is looking for a Manager!

Employer: MINS THE NAIL OF CANADA INC. o/a The Nails Metrotown

Working Location: 6382 Silver Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 0J2

Position: Manager (Permanent, Full-time)

Available: 1

Wage: $36.60 per hour

Working hours: 30~40 hours per week

Benefits: Paid vacation and sick time by BC Employment Standards

Job Duties:

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operation.
Plan and manage advertising, seasonal promotion plans or marketing strategies etc.
Manage and record daily sales and reservation schedules.
Build staff work schedules considering season, events, and vacation requests etc., and deploy staff based on the reservation schedules.
Oversee staff training and coach based on their performance.
Monitor supplies and equipment and order new stock as needed.
Address and resolve customer complaints regarding services and staff behavior.
Make sure health and safety regulations are followed.
Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems.
Recruit and train staff regarding duties and possible promotions etc., if required.
My need to perform the duties as staff, if needed.

Requirements:

Language: English
Education: Completion of Secondary
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in personal care (nails/lashes/brows etc.) including a minimum 2 years of working experience in supervisory roles, or
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience in personal care (nails/lashes/brows etc.) including one year of working experience in supervisory roles who completed any personal/beauty care related course
Must be available to work ALL weekends and holidays.
