SOI RAM – Thai Street Food: We are seeking experienced two Line Cooks to join our culinary team.

Employment Conditions:

• Type: Permanent / Full-time
• Working location: 4811 Delta Street, Delta, BC V4K 2T7
• Compensations: $20-$25 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Cook and prepare the dishes to the highest quality standards while maintaining consistency.
• Mainly assign/cook in one of the lines/sections, such as deep fry section, stir fry section, boiling section, cold food sections etc.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment ensuring food quality and work safety.
• Record and manage inventory for food ingredients as first-in/first-out.
• Maintain the cleanliness for the kitchen and appliances.
• Organize backrooms when the ingredients and food delivery come, if necessary.
• May participate in training for a newly hired staff in the kitchen.

Requirement:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary education
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in commercial kitchen or work experience is an asset for whom a completion of any culinary course/education
• Food safety certificate is an asset.
• Must be able to work any holidays.
• Must be able to work at least one day on the weekend.
