Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide personal care and companionship to an elderly family member. This position is essential to ensure stable daily care and support. The caregiver will assist with daily routines, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication support, mobility, and emotional well-being, ensuring the client’s safety and comfort.

Salary: $24.65 per hour (30 hours per week)

Terms of Employment:  full-time

Start date: As soon as possible

Vacancies: 1

Location: On-site at employer’s home (no remote work)

Languages Required: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience in elderly care is an asset

Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and companionship to the client

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily routines (toileting, rest periods)

• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements

• Assist with medication administration as directed

• Support mobility and prevent falls by providing supervision and removing hazards

• Monitor and record any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition

• Accompany the client to medical appointments

• Offer emotional support

Credentials / Requirements:

• First Aid Certificate
