Home Support Worker
The Gill Family is looking for a Home Support Worker to take care of their parents
Job Duties:
• Provide the elderly person with companionship and personal care at the employer’s home under the direction of family members
• Assist with regular exercise
• Shop for food and household supplies related to the elderly person
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and keep track of medications as prescribed by the doctor and under the supervision of family members.
• Assist the client with personal hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the elderly person
• Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirement
• High school diploma
• Formal training or equivalent experience in a caregiving-related field for 7 months to 1 year.
• Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $21.00/hr for 40 hours per week.
Work setting: Private home on Tysonville Cir, Brampton, ON, L7A. 4A6
