We are looking for a full-time, permanent Home Child Care Provider in Kelowna, BC.

Job Details:

• Position: Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100, Full-Time & Permanent)
• Wage: $18.00/hour
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Employer: Anna An
• Work Location: 305 Homer Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X3Z6
• Vacation: 10 days vacation or 4% of gross salary
• Number of Positions: 1

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 6 months of experience in childcare or household management OR Completion of a training program in childcare or a related field is required
• Language: English is required
• Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Criminal Record Check

Job Duties:

• Supervise and care for children in the employer's residence
• Cook, serve meals for children, and possibly handle additional housekeeping tasks
• Supervise children's activities, including meals and rest times, following the employer's instructions
• Ensure the home environment is safe and healthy
• Discipline children according to the parents' specified methods
• Provide educational activities suitable for the children's age
• Take children to and from school and various appointments
