She designed unique hairstyles for each guest that not only worked with their hair type and bone structure, but suited their lifestyle and profession. • Position: Hairdressing salon manager
• Terms of Employment: Full-time / Permanent
• Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
• Wage: $26 per hour
• Benefits: Health care plan
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year
• Location: 1030 W Georgia St #233, Vancouver, BC V6E 2Y3

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily activities within the salon
• Monitor and evaluate daily salon functions
• Plan and organize the salon's daily schedule and services
• Create and implement rules and guidelines for salon staff
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting and inventory
• Hire, educate, and manage salon personnel
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients

Requirements/Education and other requirements

• Completion of secondary school is usually required
• College diploma in hospitality, business administration, customer service or courses related to beauty industry or hairstyling could be a strong asset
• 2-3 years of work experience in the hair salon setting is required
• Team player who is keen to learn and develop themselves while working in a team
• Quick learner and excellent multi-tasker
• Detail oriented, systematic, careful, and energetic
