Description
Deep Creek General Store is located at 3455 Pleasant Valley Rd. Armstrong, BC V0E 1B0. We are currently looking for a full-time Food Services Manager. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.
Position: Food Services Manager
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Wage: CAD$ 28.00 per hour
Working Hours: 30- 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the food service section;
• Plan and control budget and inventory;
• Determine type of foods and services to be offered and implement operational procedure;
• Monitor sales revenues and modify operating procedures and pricing as necessary;
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;
• Prepare staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, and make scheduling adjustments as necessary;
• Recruit, oversee staff training, and conduct performance reviews;
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and provincial regulations;
• Hold staff meetings and address staff concerns and suggestions;
• Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering service;
• Manage catering service, special events, and advertisements.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the food service sector including supervisory experience is required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset
• Language at work: English
