Description

We are looking for well-experienced Food Service Supervisors for Impact Kitchen located at 573 King Street East, Toronto, ON M5A 4L3, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

• Lead and train the guest experience team.
• Ensure a best-in-class experience for new hires on their first day and during training.
• Ensure all beverages are prepared in a timely manner according to the menu and customer specifications, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, tonics, tea, and wellness drinks.
• Execute and train on all front-of-house positions to support smooth service, including dialling espresso grinders and monitoring espresso quality.
• Accurately input orders through the POS system to ensure efficient communication with the service line, coffee bar, and smoothie bar.
• Set up and close down baristas and smoothie stations at the start and end of each shift, maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of the workspace and equipment.
• Conduct advanced training for relevant team members, ensuring a top-tier experience.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule staff activities for food preparation, portioning, and serving.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare food order summaries for the chef based on dietician and customer requests.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• May perform other duties reasonably assigned.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $17.00  to $25.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
