Le Gourmand (1831806 Ontario Inc.) dba Le Gourmand Cafe is seeking a full-time food service supervisor.

Position: Food service supervisor

Number of Positions: 1

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Educational and Experience Requirements:

– Completion of Secondary school is required

AND

– Either:

a college certificate or diploma from a hospitality or related program that takes 1 to 2 years, or

equivalent experience, or

a combination of education and experience.

Language Requirements: English

Start date: ASAP

Wage: $17.00/hour

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Benefits: 4% remuneration vacation pay, Tip
 

Job Duties:

– Engage in daily operations of the shop

– Supervise and coordinate the activities of counter attendants and helpers

– Monitor and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

– Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

– Ensure all care areas are clean and tidy

– Address customers’ complains or concerns, and solve problems when needed
