Pioneer Inn by the River is located at 8405 Byng Rd. (Box 699), Port Hardy, BC V0N 2P0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Executive Housekeeper. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Executive Housekeeper
Wage: CAD$22.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Direct and oversee the operations of housekeeping department;
• Co-ordinate and supervise the housekeeping staff;
• Plan and prepare staff work schedules;
• Inspect to ensure inn’s cleaning standards and health & safety regulations are met;
• Select and order housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure staff have proper tools for work;
• Maintain inventory;
• Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery;
• Hire and train housekeeping staff;
• Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payrolls.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience as a cleaning supervisor;
• A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration asset.
