Job description: This company is looking for a full time delivery drivers supervisor to join their team.

 

Job duties:

 

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation, loading and unloading of goods to ensure accurate and timely distribution.
  • Assign delivery routes and organize driver schedules according to shipment volumes and delivery priorities.
  • Verify invoices, bills and product quantities to ensure shipment accuracy and maintain proper delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate merchandising activities and ensure products are properly arranged at designated locations.
  • Ensure drivers follow proper procedures when loading trucks and handling goods using pallet jacks, and assist with loading and unloading when required.
  • Operate company delivery vehicles and perform delivery duties when required to support daily operations and meet delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel and other departments to resolve operational issues, improve workflow and ensure smooth dispatch and delivery operations.
  • Train and guide drivers on delivery procedures, customer service, documentation and workplace safety.
  • Maintain delivery records, prepare operational reports and monitor transportation activities to ensure compliance with company standards.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • 2 to 3 years safe driving experience is required
  • A valid driver's license appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven is required.
