The Point Bar and Grill Ltd. (o/a Lift Bar Grill View) sets the stage with sweeping harbor, Stanley Park and coastal mountain view, the city’s only waterfront, rooftop deck located in Vancouver, BC. A fresh perspective on regionally sourced specialties and the bounty of the Pacific Ocean.
We have assembled an amazing team of kitchen and service staff, and we are now hiring a full-time experienced Cook position.

Position: Full-time Cook
Vacancy: 1
Wage: $19.00 ~ $22.00 per hour
Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week.
Benefit: 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year.
Working (Business) Location: 333 Menchion Mews, Vancouver, BC V6G 3H5
Responsibilities:
– Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
– Cook complete various foods according to our recipes.
– Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, stirring, and mixing ingredients; adding seasons; verifying taste and plating meals.
– Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
– Ensure food portions and presentation meet our standards.
– Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.
– Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities.
– Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc.
– Clean kitchen and work area.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school
– 2+ years of commercial cooking experience
