The Point Bar and Grill Ltd. (o/a Lift Bar Grill View) sets the stage with sweeping harbor, Stanley Park and coastal mountain view, the city’s only waterfront, rooftop deck located in Vancouver, BC. A fresh perspective on regionally sourced specialties and the bounty of the Pacific Ocean.

 

We have assembled an amazing team of kitchen and service staff, and we are now hiring a full-time experienced Chef position.

 

Employer: The Point Bar and Grill Ltd. (o/a LIFT Bar Grill View)

Position: Full-time Chef

Vacancy: 1

 

Wage: $24.00 ~ $25.00 per hour

Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week.

Benefit: 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year.

Working (Business) Location: 333 Menchion Mews, Vancouver, BC V6G 3H5

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create new recipes
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

 

Requirement:

– Completion of secondary school

– At least 5 years of commercial cooking experience
