Summary:
Sushi Royal Tokyo is a Japanese-style restaurant located in the heart of Kamloops. We’ve been open since 2015 and are known in the local area for great, quality sushi and Japanese fare, with an impressive all-you-can option. We offer dine-in (a la carte and all-you-can-eat), take-out, and delivery, and to maintain our busy volumes, we are currently seeking experienced Cooks to join our kitchen team.
Job Responsibilities:
– Cook complete Japanese dishes and food from the menu;
– Prepare and cook various types of sushi food items including sashimi, nigiri sushi, maki rolls, inside-out rolls, and other Japanese dishes;
– Prepare and cook hot dishes;
– Manage overall kitchen operations; and
– Train staff including Kitchen Helpers.
Job Requirements:
– 3 years of cooking experience
– Completion of high school education
– Must be able to communicate in English
– Experience with Japanese cuisine preferred
Compensation:
– $14.60 – $17.50/hour plus gratuities
– Free meal(s) per working shift
