Yellowstone Construction Ltd. was founded in 2014 and currently locates in Saskatoon, SK. Our company offers comprehensive services in residential renovation, construction, and electrical installation. We are currently seeking a full-time Construction electrician helper to join our team. Job Duties:
– Help electricians by supplying or holding materials, tools, and equipment, and cleaning work areas and equipment.
– Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas.
– Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and fixtures, under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
– Prepare and clean work sites by removing debris and ensuring that the area is ready for electrical work.
– Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any issues or needed repairs to the supervisor.
– Perform basic tasks such as cutting and bending wire, conduit, and other materials as directed by the electrician.
– Assist in maintaining records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the job.
– Direct traffic at or near construction sites
– Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Requirement for this position:
– Completion of Secondary School
– Some experience or knowledge as a construction electrician helper will be an asset
– On-the-job training will be provided
