Description
We are currently hiring Carpenter for iHome Prestige Luxury located at 6 Coldbrook Drive Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0 Canada.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, layouts, and project specifications for new construction, renovations, restorations, and custom additions.

Measure, cut, assemble, and install structural components including floors, walls, beams, joists, trusses, and roof systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and quality standards.

Perform demolition, structural repairs, modifications, and reinforcement work on existing homes as required during renovation or restoration projects.

Carry out restoration tasks on log homes, including sanding, repairing wood surfaces, sealing, staining, chinking/caulking, and restoring exterior finishes.

Install, replace, or upgrade interior and exterior carpentry components such as doors, windows, trims, moldings, cabinetry, paneling, railings, stair components, and feature wall elements.

Construct, repair, and install decks, balconies, exterior structures, pergolas, and related outdoor carpentry features consistent with the company’s service offerings.

Execute high-quality finishing work for luxury-grade remodeling projects, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and superior craftsmanship.

Conduct onsite measurements, participate in client consultations, and support project planning from initial assessment through completion.

Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and project team members to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion, and alignment with client expectations.

Maintain documentation related to measurements, material usage, work progress, and site observations, and assist with preparation of material and labour estimates when needed.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized carpentry equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all company and regulatory safety standards.

Follow established construction practices, quality-control protocols, and building-code requirements on all assigned tasks.

Train and guide apprentices or junior carpenters by demonstrating correct methods, monitoring workmanship, and ensuring adherence to project specifications
Requirements
Education: – Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience & Skills: – 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in Carpentry or equivalent
Language: – English
Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
