We are currently hiring Carpenter for iHome Prestige Luxury located at 6 Coldbrook Drive Millbrook, ON L0A 1G0 Canada.

No. of Position: 02

Duties:

• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and design specifications to determine project scope and material requirements for luxury residential builds.

• Prepare precise layouts in accordance with building codes, structural requirements, and high-end finish standards.

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, engineered wood, lightweight steel, and other materials for framing, structural components, and custom installations.

• Construct and install foundations, floor systems, subflooring, framing, walls, partitions, and roof structures for premium residential projects.

• Install custom trim work, including high-end doors, feature stairs, luxury mouldings, casings, baseboards, and bespoke finishing elements.

• Fit and install premium cabinetry, built-ins, wall panels, closets, and designer millwork consistent with luxury home specifications.

• Perform repairs, renovations, and upgrades to existing residential structures, ensuring craftsmanship aligns with client expectations and company quality standards.

• Install hardware, fixtures, and interior finishing components with precision to maintain the aesthetic integrity of upscale home designs.

• Ensure all work adheres to building codes, safety regulations, and structural guidelines applicable to luxury construction.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other skilled trades to coordinate installation sequencing and resolve site-based challenges.

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, durability, and alignment with high-end project specifications before client review.

• Operate carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment safely while maintaining strict site cleanliness and material organization.

• Supervise and guide apprentices or junior carpenters as required, ensuring workmanship meets company standards.

• Prepare material lists, estimate time requirements, and report progress to project supervisors during construction phases.

• Perform maintenance and corrective carpentry work on previously completed luxury projects when required.

Requirements

Education: – Diploma Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: – 2 years to less than 3 years of experience 

Language: – English

Hourly Rate: $32.00 to $34.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
