Position: Full-time Bricklayer Helper
Open positions: 2
Wage and working hours: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour, 30-40 hours a week.
Working Location: 23926 – 62nd Ave, Langley, BC, V2Y 1M2
Responsibilities:
– Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
– Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
– Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers
– Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials
– Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
– Tend or feed machines used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
– Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other materials
– Direct traffic at or near construction sites
– Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Requirement:
– Finish high school
– On-the-job training will be provided.
