Bar Manager

We are looking for a well-experienced Bar Manager for a well-known events and catering firm, Paramount Eventspace, located at 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9T2 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:

• Plan and oversee daily bar operations for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale functions, ensuring smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.

• Supervise bartenders and bar support staff, assign duties, set work schedules, and monitor performance during events.

• Ensure bar setups, service stations, and mobile bars are prepared according to event requirements and service timelines.

• Control bar inventory, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and supplies, and coordinate ordering to meet event demands.

• Monitor beverage service standards, portion control, presentation, and responsible alcohol service practices.

• Address guest service issues and resolve bar-related complaints promptly during events.

• Coordinate with event managers, service leads, and kitchen teams to align beverage service with overall event flow.

• Assist with beverage menu execution, pricing adherence, and specialty drink service based on event specifications.

• Inspect bar areas before and after events to ensure cleanliness, equipment readiness, and proper breakdown procedures.
   

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree  or equivalent experience

Experience: 5 years or more in the food industry

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36 to $38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
