Position: Assistant Manager

Position Available: 1

Employment Conditions:

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Working Location: #210-7015 Nesters Road, Whistler, BC V8E 0X1
• Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
• Compensation: $28~$34 per hour

Benefits:

• Extended Medical (including Dental) – after 3 months of probation period
• Free staff meal during working hours
• Subject to receive paid vacation and sick days as of BC Employment Standards

Job Duties:

• Maintain and supervise daily operations as set by manager/owner.
• Assist manager in building work schedules/sales planning considering the seasons, business trends and local events etc.
• Monitor staff performance and have coaching conversation, if needed.
• Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures in operations.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Participate in managerial meetings with manager/owner.
• Maintain records of business documents such as licenses and invoices etc.
• Plan to hire and recruit staff.

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Completion of high school
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food or restaurant service including at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Must be available to work at least one day on weekend and holidays considering the business trends and working schedule.
