Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in creating a positive and seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in/check out guests efficiently and professionally
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing processes
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
  • Provide local recommendations and information about Whistler
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Maintain accurate records and follow hotel procedures
  • Ensure a high level of customer service at all times

Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of previous front desk or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) is an asset
  • Flexible availability (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance
