Description
Houston Food Market is located at 3428 9th St. Houston, BC V0J 1Z0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Retail Store Supervisor. If you are interested, please submit your application by email.
Position: Retail Store Supervisor
Wage: CAD$24.00 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts including, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate staff;
• Assign duties to retail staff and prepare work schedules;
• Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise;
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock;
• Order merchandise that is low in stock;
• Keep sales records for inventory control;
• Handle customer complaints, issues and questions;
• Train staff and monitor staff performance;
• Ensure store front and the products are in clean conditions;
• Work on displays and signage.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience is required
• Language at work: English
