We have an opening for Cook (63200) at our Royal Indian Treats (2543081 Ontario Inc.) located at 443 Norwich Avenue Woodstock, Ontario N4S 3W4. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include preparing food for in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations


Job requirements
Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Setting: Restaurant

Cuisine specialties: East Indian

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods & Work under pressure

Personal Suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability and Team player

Employment conditions: Evening, Morning, On call, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Hourly Rate: CAD$37.00 per Hour for 30 to 35 Hours per week
