High Rise Entertainment & Music Ltd, a video and sound recording firm based in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Video and Sound Recorder Technician to join its team.

The right candidate will have the following skills:

• Completion of a college or other program in recording engineering, audiovisual technology or a related field. Relevant experience as a recording studio assistant may replace formal education.
• Familiarity with Punjabi and Hindi music production is preferred.
• Good command of English. Knowledge of Punjabi or Hindi is preferred.

These are the job responsibilities:

• Set up, prepare, operate, and adjust audio recording, editing, and reproduction equipment to record, edit, and reproduce sound input or pre-recorded material for music videos.
• Prepare and operate video recording equipment to record videos, live events, and to edit material after production.
• Operate audio consoles or computers, microphones and sound processing equipment to mix, combine and edit music and sound for music videos and live events.

We are offering $36.75 hour for 30 hours/week
