About the Role

MaxSpace Stone Works Incorporated is hiring a Drafting Technician to support our construction and production team by preparing detailed engineering designs, drawings, and documentation packages. This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, organized, and confident using CAD software in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
• Preparing engineering designs and detailed drawings
• Reading blueprints and interpreting project requirements
• Developing and preparing design sketches
• Preparing construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
• Estimating project materials and costs
• Completing documentation packages and drawing sets
• Reviewing drawings for errors and ensuring conformity to standards
• Consulting with clients, engineers, and production specialists to confirm product requirements
• Operating CADD systems and related computer software (AutoCAD, CAD tools)

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related drafting/design role
• Language: English (spoken & written)
• Technical Skills: Computer-Aided Design (CAD), AutoCAD. MS Office, Windows operating systems
