Description

Gateway to India Restaurant located in heart of Downtown Nanaimo BC, is looking for 1 full-time restaurant manager with experience of 2 year to less than 3 years. Language requirement is English. Other job requirements are as below:
1. Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
2. Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
3. Monitor staff performance.
4. Evaluate daily operations.
5. Plan and organize daily operations
6. Set staff work schedules, Supervise and train staff.
7. Organize and maintain inventory.
8. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
9. Address customers' complaints or concerns.
10. Provide customer service.
11. Manage events.
