We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Front Desk Agent to join our team. A Front Desk Agent at Coast Hotels is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering warm, professional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role involves managing reservations, handling inquiries, processing payments, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and personalized experience.
• Perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures using the hotel’s reservation and property management systems.
• Provide prompt and accurate information about hotel amenities, dining services, local attractions, and transportation options.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented attitude to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle all front desk communications including incoming phone calls, emails, in-person queries, and special requests.
• Process payments and deposits accurately via cash, debit, credit cards, or other methods.
• Support smooth room assignments, modifications, group bookings, and tour arrivals/departures in coordination with housekeeping and other departments.
• Prepare and manage guest documentation, including registration cards, billing, and daily reports.
• Operate and maintain POS systems and front desk technology efficiently across various departments.
• Handle in-room service requests, guest amenities, and light physical tasks such as assisting with luggage or special deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe front desk environment, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and security standards at all times.
• Act as a Coast Hotels Ambassador by consistently upholding the brand’s values, providing superior guest service, and embodying a calm, composed, and helpful demeanor.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment; assist colleagues when necessary and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager on Duty.

Employment requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• 1-year related work experience.
• Beginner level in the use of MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of reservation operating systems.
• Proficiency in using computers and experience with hotel management software is an asset.
• Competent in the use of a multi-line switchboard.
• Exemplifies Coast's core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability.
• Able to work flexible hours.
