EILEEN ROOFING INC. is currently hiring experienced Flat Roofers for full-time, permanent employment.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with flat roofs on commercial projects
- Should be able to work independently with limited supervision
- Willingness to work some weekends and overtime
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Capable of working in various weather conditions
- Applicable safety training is an asset: WHMIS certificate, Propane in Construction Record of Training, Rooftop Safety Training etc. but training provided
Duties Include:
- Prepare roofs for installation of built-up flat roofing systems
- Install, repair or replace single-ply waterproof membranes, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
- Install conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified bitumen roofing systems, 4 ply hot built-up asphalt & gravel roofing
- Troubleshoot and inspect flat roofs for leaks
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Remove old roofing materials, install vapour barriers and roof insulation
- Apply of waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
- Use hand and power tools
- Follow safety procedures, hazardous material restrictions, and building codes
Wages and Work Hours:
Between $35.00 and $42.00 per hour for full-time hours (between 32 and 44 hours per week)
Wages commensurate with experience

Work Location:
Various commercial, institutional and industrial projects across the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern/eastern Ontario.
