Working Conditions:
-Wage: $34.62 per hour
-Working Hours: 30 hours per week (full-Time)
-Benefit(s): 4% vacation pay / Extended Medical Insurance after 6 months of employment
Job duties you will be responsible for:
– Ensure all materials are purchased on time, to specification, and at the best price available.
– Participate in the selection and development of products and collections.
– Assist in market analysis and decision-making.
– Examine, select, order, and purchase at the most favorable price merchandise consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors.
– Analyze assigned product categories and propose appropriate action plan.
– Negotiate with suppliers and build long term relationships.
– Make sure stock is rotated effectively and waste minimize.
– Develop and maintain a supplier database to strengthen the procurement process.
– Liaise with suppliers on quality problems in conjunction with company quality standards.
Requirements:
– Completion of High School is required
– Minimum 1 year’ related work experience in retail or wholesale establishments
– English
